What made this experience special was that it was my first time speaking in front of a large audience. I had to prepare a short speech about "The Importance of Learning English." I practiced a lot with my teacher and friends before the contest, and they encouraged me to do my best.
However, I faced some challenges during this experience. I was very nervous, and my hands were shaking when I stood on the stage. I was also afraid of forgetting my words. But after the first few sentences, I started to feel more confident. I focused on my speech and tried to speak clearly.
I found this experience memorable because it helped me overcome my fear of speaking English in public. It also showed me that practice and confidence are important when learning a language. Even though I didn't win the contest, I was proud of myself for trying. This event motivated me to keep improving my English skills.
